Job summary

Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Virginia is seeking a Lead Wound Care Nurse to join our sub-acute and long-term care team. The role requires an active Virginia RN or LPN license with wound care certification and CPR certification, with a focus on comprehensive wound care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The position offers a 6:00 AM–2:00 PM shift and an all-inclusive hourly pay of $38–$44 for RN, or $30–$38 for LPN, plus Daily Pay and no-frills options.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active Virginia LPN or RN license with an unencumbered status.
• Wound Care Certification is required.
• Valid BLS CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of wound care nursing experience in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident wound care in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds with sound clinical judgment.
• Deliver wound care treatments based on resident needs and best practices.
• Offer compassionate, person-centered care to residents and families.
• Provide clinical guidance to nursing and care teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wound assessments and outcomes.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and resident confidentiality.
