Flowers Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Wound Care unit. This full-time role operates on a 5x8 hour shift pattern from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, providing patient-centered care and coordinating with physicians, nurses, and others to ensure quality outcomes.

A student loan contribution of up to $20,000 is available as part of the incentives. The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, support procedures, and educate patients and families while adhering to infection

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
  • RN license and state licensure required.
  • BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
  • Perform clinical assessments and document findings.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop care plans.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and participate in code team activities.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care.
