Job summary

Description:The Registered Nurse is accountable for providing care to Wound/Ostomy Care patients.The care is provided by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures.The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment.Leadership is required in anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care.The nurse maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.Patient care priorities are delegated commensurate with the education and experience of available staff.The position includes providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
