Description:This position is for a Wound Care RN with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.The shift will be 5x8 hours from 07:30 to 16:00.There are no weekend requirements for this role.The clinician will not float within the facility.However, floating to similar units may occur.Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in wound and ostomy care.Experience in pediatrics is highly preferred.All candidates must hold the required certifications, including BLS and WOCN.The facility is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds.Patient populations include adults and pediatric patients requiring wound care.Daily census averages around 150 visits.Wound care involves advanced techniques such as NPWT and ostomy management.Candidates will need skills in wound assessment and management.Teamwork and the ability to teach patients and families are essential in this role.
