Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for wound and ostomy care at the John C Lincoln facility in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires two years of wound care experience and preferred wound/ostomy certification.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities include developing care plans, administering medications and IV therapy, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years wound care experience required.
• Wound/ostomy certified preferred.
• Arizona RN license or compact state license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per ANA standards and Code of Ethics.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with a family-centered approach.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy with safety and accuracy.
• Record and communicate patient data and care plans to the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, home care needs, and self-management.
• Precept new staff and students, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement.
