Job summary

Clinch Valley Health in Richlands, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Women’s Services/Nursery. This full-time days position includes rotating weekends, 7a-7p, joining a mission-driven team dedicated to compassionate care during labor, delivery, and newborn care.

You will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, document care, and participate in the interdisciplinary plan. Virginia RN license and BLS required; NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within stated

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• NRP certification required within 30 days of hire.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within two years and within one year of hire.
• Labor and Delivery experience preferred (6 months).

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
