Clinch Valley Health in Richlands, VA, seeks a Registered Nurse in Women's Services/Nursery for full-time day shifts (7a–7p) with rotating weekends. You will perform patient assessments, implement nursing interventions, document care, and contribute to care planning within a supportive obstetric unit.

Qualifications include an active Virginia RN license (or compact), BLS and NRP within 30 days, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring within two years (and within one year of hire).

• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within two years and within one year of hire.

• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Clinch Valley Medical Center offers modern antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and nursery care surrounded in a close to home community. In this position, the Registered Nurse will help guide families through one of life's biggest moments, building real connections in a warm, close-knit team.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days
• NRP is required within 30 days
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring is required every two years and within one year of hire
• 6 months of previous Labor and Delivery experience preferred

Hourly Range

$33.64 to $44.81
