Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for the Med Surg ICU on a full-time daytime schedule. The ideal candidate has an RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure and completes Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire. Education must meet state requirements, with an Associate's, Diploma, or BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing (AD, Diploma, BSN).
• RN license in state or compact license and maintain requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.

Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

RN-WEO- Med Surg ICU- FT Days

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications: - Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
