Job summary

Mercy is hiring an RN-WEO- Med Surg ICU - FT Days to provide patient care within our Medical-Surgical ICU. You will apply Mercy's Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to deliver high-quality care while ensuring patient safety and rights.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, is eligible for licensure in the hiring state, and has BSN/AD or Diploma training. BLS certification is required, with duties including coordination with other departments and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments; maintains professional accountability.

Position Details:

RN-WEO- Med Surg ICU- FT Days

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
