Job summary

Wilber Care Center in Wilber, NE is seeking a Weekend Warrior RN to deliver bedside nursing care on weekends. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and coordinate with the care team to build patient-centered care plans. Shift options include 8- or 12-hour periods, with a path to either full- or part-time work.

Compensation includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive weekend rates, plus benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, FSA, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, with a focus on long-term care and/or rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop patient-centered care plans.
• Serve as weekend charge nurse, providing leadership and motivation to the nursing team.
• Engage with patients and families to offer support and education.
• Maintain schedules with 8- or 12-hour shifts and ensure high-quality resident care.

Provide leadership and motivation to the nursing team you will oversee as the charge nurse on the weekends, foster growth and development; and provide continued education opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:
