Major Responsibilities
  • Manage staffing needs and supervise nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality care.
  • Assist in staff development and recruitment.
  • Provide direct resident care in accordance with care plans.
  • Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
  • Conduct and document comprehensive data collection of residents’ medical status upon admission and during treatment.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules for adequate coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and staff to resolve grievances.
  • Complete Preceptor Training.
  • Innovate and implement new ideas to improve systems and processes, fostering a successful management team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered, active RN license in the state.
  • At least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a setting serving the same resident population, with a minimum of 1 year in nursing administration.
  • Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to quality care.
