Job summary

Masonic Village Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee weekend nursing operations. This Part-Time role offers Friday through Sunday coverage with weekend shifts of 11 PM to 7 AM, or alternate weekends, and same-day pay options.

The RN will lead nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote safe, quality resident care. Qualified candidates hold an active NJ RN license, BLS CPR, and 2+ years nursing experience with 1+ year supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in New Jersey.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in healthcare setting.
• Minimum 1+ years supervisor experience needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
