Lawrence Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a 60-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility, seeks an RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff and ensure safe, high-quality resident care. This part-time role covers weekends (7a–7p) and emphasizes regulatory compliance and compassionate leadership.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NJ (unencumbered).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and document interventions.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Communicate with physicians, teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Promote adherence to nursing regulations and safety standards.
• Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and leadership.

$38/hr-$60/hr. (all inclusive)

Responsibilities for RN Supervisor:

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of NJ.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
