Job summary

Armstrong Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to oversee the weekend shift and ensure high-quality patient care. You will lead a nursing team, coordinate plans of care, and uphold center policies in a warm, patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates have PA RN licensure, 1+ year of relevant experience, and strong leadership and communication abilities to drive quality and teamwork across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
• Ability to work weekends, as scheduled.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• Familiarity with medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of our nursing staff on weekends, providing guidance and support as needed
• Ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with our center's policies and procedures
• Develop and implement effective plans of care for our patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and coach staff to improve their skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with corporate and facility leadership to develop and implement changes to improve patient outcomes and overall center operations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
