Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN, seeks a Registered Nurse for the 2BCE Intermediate Unit. This part-time role covers 24 hours weekly, days (7am-7pm), with weekend-only WOW shifts and premium pay.

Our 34-bed PCU/intermediate unit operates with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Sign-on bonus eligibility for experienced applicants, plus self-scheduling to support work-life balance and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for healthcare provider required.
• ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing. With nurse-to-patient ratios (4:1), our team provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs. Our unit is composed both experienced and new graduate nurses; we work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient centric care. Our team continues building our reputation as a unit everyone wants to be a part of because of teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment.
