Job summary

Medical West in McCalla, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Weekend Baylor 4-ICU position. You will deliver patient-centered care, assess on admission, plan and evaluate treatment, administer meds, and supervise LPNs and techs.

A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered. ADN required; RN license in Alabama; BLS within 30 days; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited institution is required.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Must possess American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification may be required depending on the nursing unit.

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse assesses patients upon admission; plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; administers medications; and evaluates and documents patients status and progress. The Registered Nurse also supervises LPNs, Patient Care Techs, and other team members as assigned.
