Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to oversee medical care across residential homes. You will travel to assigned locations, provide skilled nursing care, coordinate healthcare services, and educate staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered support.

This weekday-focused role offers opportunities to build relationships with residents, care teams, and interdisciplinary colleagues while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum of two years nursing experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between residential locations

Responsibilities

• Assess residents upon admission and ongoing nursing assessments
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and physician-ordered treatments
• Monitor health conditions, infections, and chronic medical needs
• Coordinate medical, psychiatric, dental, and specialty appointments
• Educate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on medication administration, infection prevention, and proper use of medical equipment
• Conduct medication room, eMAR, and EHR audits
