Job summary

Ability Beyond in Beacon, NY is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide nursing oversight for our Howland Avenue medically acute program and to support our Carmel, NY location as needed. The role offers Monday–Friday hours with no on-call responsibilities.

You will coordinate care for individuals with developmental disabilities, advocate for high-quality clinical care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and oversee medication administration and care documentation.

Qualifications

• RN with current licensure in New York.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing oversight and coordinate care for individuals with developmental disabilities in residential group home and day program.
• Advocate to ensure clients receive the best clinical care through teaching, training and audits.
• Collaborate with a diverse team including direct care staff, physicians and other clinicians.
• Oversee medication administration and care documentation for assigned caseload.
