Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the vAcute virtual triage program. This role provides education and care coordination for patients, with duties assigned by the Medical Director, and supports 24-hour coverage in OB/GYN or Pediatrics specialities.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, current MO RN license, 5+ years of direct nursing experience, and BLS certification within 6 months of hire; strong communication and teamwork in a virtual care setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from registered nursing program and a BSN.
• Minimum of 5 years diversified direct clinical nursing experience.
• MO RN license or eligible for licensure and eligible for other state licensure.
• BLS Certification within 6 months of hire.
• OBGYN or Pediatrics specialty experience preferred (various units).

Responsibilities

• Provide education and care coordination for patients in the vAcute program.
• Conduct virtual triage and care assessments via phone/video.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and care team to coordinate services.
• Support OB/GYN or Pediatrics patients within the assigned specialty.
• Operate in a 24-hour virtual care environment with strong patient-family communication.
