Job summary

Michigan Veteran Homes in Marquette, MI is seeking an RN supervisor to lead a small resident care team and coordinate nursing care for a defined caseload. This role includes administrative duties, collaboration with multiple disciplines, and direct clinical nursing tasks as needed.

The position involves maintaining 8-hour administration across 1–4 care areas, supervising 1–4 teams of Resident Care Aides and LPNs, and serving as a key liaison for patient care planning.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing degree or nursing program accepted for RN licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
• One year of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse P11.
• Possession of a master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• First-line administrative supervisor for a limited work area with resident care staff (Practical Nurses and Resident Care Aides).
• Serve as main liaison between the member and multidisciplinary care teams; assess and plan nursing care for caseload.
• Maintain eight-hour responsibility for administration of 1–4 member care areas and supervise 1–4 teams of staff; perform clinical duties as an RN.
