Qualifications

• Current RN license in Florida.
• 2–3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing unit, including staff supervision, patient care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and other department leaders to develop and implement unit goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
• Provide professional guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, including orientation and training programs.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork among staff members.
