Job summary

Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our skilled nursing unit. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, coordinate patient care, and drive quality improvement to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license, has 2–3 years in skilled nursing or rehab, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• 2–3 years of experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing unit, including staff supervision, patient care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and department leaders to develop and implement unit goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers for seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
• Provide professional guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, including orientation and training programs.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork.
