Job summary

Virginia Beach Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an experienced Unit Manager, RN to oversee the clinical operations of a high-acuity unit. You will supervise nurses and CNAs and coordinate with physicians to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as an RN.
• Minimum three to five years of experience as an RN, preferably in long term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.
• Nursing Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations of the unit and supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Interface with physicians, QI reporting and follow-up, and provide clinical expertise to staff.
• Ensure care for our most clinically acute patients and residents.
