Job summary

Belmont Bay Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and deliver comprehensive, person-centered resident care. The role emphasizes clinical leadership and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in a 120-bed facility.

Full-time hours are 8a-5p with daily pay and competitive benefits. A Virginia RN license with BLS CPR is required, and a nursing degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in Virginia.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college preferred.
• Minimum of five years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations on the unit and ensure resident-centered care.
• Coordinate resident care to promote physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure incident reporting and follow-up with the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and policy development.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for continuous improvement.
