Belmont Bay Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Virginia is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit. You will ensure residents receive comprehensive, person-centered care, guided by our values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, ensuring incident reporting, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve care and outcomes in a 120-bed sub-acute and long-term care setting.

Formación

• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN license in Virginia.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited program is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center or similar setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with follow-up and communication to the Administrator and DON.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
