Elderwood at Lockport is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership for a skilled nursing unit. You will lead a team, ensure high-quality resident care, and collaborate with the DON, ADON, and interdisciplinary staff to strengthen nursing practices and outcomes.

This is a visible, hands-on leadership role with substantial accountability and support from Elderwood’s clinical leadership structure.

Competenze

Active RN license — New York required.
2+ years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting.
Prior leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Supervisor) required.
Experience working with CNA teams and developing newer staff.
Dementia population experience strongly preferred.

Mansioni

Provide 24‑hour oversight of your assigned nursing unit.
Supervise, coach, and develop nursing staff with a focus on CNA support and performance.
Set clear expectations for care delivery, accountability, and teamwork.
Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of resident care plans.
Monitor clinical indicators and address resident needs; ensure documentation, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
Communicate changes in condition and care plans to families and providers; support service recovery when needed.
Manage daily staffing, call‑ins, scheduling, recruitment, and staff development; conduct daily rounds.
