Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership for a nursing unit within our skilled nursing and long-term care setting in Vermont. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes structure, accountability and strong clinical judgment to support a high-quality care environment.

You will partner with the Director of Nursing, other nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to strengthen nursing practice and resident outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Vermont RN license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• At least one (1) year of nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience or a genuine passion for caring for older adults; dementia care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for one nursing unit.
• Oversee resident care and develop the nursing team; collaborate with interdisciplinary departments.
• Ensure compassionate, high-quality care in a safe environment; lead with accountability and clinical judgment.
• Support the DON, ADON, and facility leadership; mentor staff and foster professional growth.
