Job summary

The Peaks, A Senior Living Community in Flagstaff, AZ seeks a Unit Manager RN to coordinate nursing services and work with the DON on unit needs. You will ensure regulatory compliance, oversee medications, and participate in interdisciplinary teams to deliver Platinum Service.

Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing and an active RN license, with at least 1 year of direct care experience in long-term care or geriatric settings.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Active RN license in good standing throughout employment.
• Minimum one year of direct care experience in long-term care/geriatric settings as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct nursing services for residents on the unit.
• Coordinate admissions and ensure rooms have necessary equipment.
• Oversee medication administration and treatments as needed.
• Coordinate with DON and discharge planning with social services.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings and on-call nurse manager rotation.
