Job summary

Aston Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager in Florida to lead our nursing staff and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting. This is a leadership role focused on operations, policy execution, and resident satisfaction.

The role requires an active Florida RN license, 5+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in supervision, and preferred Long Term Care experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Florida or eligible.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in hospital, SNF, or healthcare.
• At least 1 year of experience in a nurse supervisor role.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to nursing staff to ensure high-quality, outcomes-focused care.
• Manage daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that support patient-centered care.
• Build relationships with residents and families to understand and meet their care needs.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the nursing department.
• Measure and drive quality outcomes to meet and exceed care standards.
