Job summary

Diversicare in Mississippi seeks a Registered Nurse to lead the nursing team in our post-acute care centers in Southaven. You will supervise care delivery, ensure timely medication passes, and uphold physician directives and care plans.

You will mentor direct care staff, coordinate services, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services to maintain high-quality resident care and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license current by the state board; MS preferred.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in long-term care.
• Experience in triaging tasks and supervising nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe nursing care and medication administration.
• Lead and coach nursing team to ensure quality care.
• Assess patient/resident needs and adjust care plans as directed.
• Document assessments, treatments and deviations per policy.
• Communicate findings to physician and Nursing Director.
• Ensure policy compliance and patient/resident safety.
