Qualifications

• Current Mississippi RN license with at least three years in long-term care.
• Ability to plan, evaluate, and coordinate services.
• Experience in triaging tasks and supervising nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Receives report on patient/resident status from previous shift; ensures resources to meet needs.
• Provides leadership and support with care; timely medication passes and care plans as directed.
• Evaluates performance of direct care team members and informs Director of Nursing Services of coaching opportunities.
• Monitors patient/resident needs and ensures policies are followed.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates actions with Nursing leadership.
• Works with Director of Nursing Services to address systemic or procedural concerns.
• Ensures safe work practices and empathetic communication with families.
