Job summary

National Health Care Associates is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee nursing staff in a dedicated unit within our Long-Term Care and Rehab facilities. You will lead a team, develop care plans, and ensure high-quality resident care and compliance. You will mentor staff, coordinate daily operations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident well‑being. Per diem and temp‑to‑hire shifts are available with competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN nursing license.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care of the aged and chronically ill.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit.
• Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care.
• Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
