Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Uniondale, NY, is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure exceptional resident care. The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily unit operations, mentoring staff, addressing clinical challenges, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NY required.
• Minimum 2 years of SNF experience.
• Leadership or RN management experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Sigma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily nursing unit operations, ensuring high-quality and person-centered care.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, including performance and competency assessments.
• Address clinical and administrative challenges to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
• Provide expert clinical oversight in medical, behavioral, and crisis management situations.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop and achieve individualized resident care goals.
• Partner with the Director of Nursing to align unit objectives with overall facility goals.
• Communicate regularly with families and physicians regarding resident progress and updates.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and contribute to care planning and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
• Promote a positive, supportive environment for staff, residents, and families.
