Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Guilderland seeks two RN Unit Managers to lead the nursing unit and oversee day-to-day operations in Guilderland, NY. You will mentor staff, enforce policies, and ensure high-quality resident care.

Salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, with same-day pay options and bonus opportunities including sign-on and referrals, plus a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience.
• At least 1 year in a Unit Manager role preferred.
• RN license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and manage unit operations.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies for care delivery.
• Mentor and support nurses with clinical guidance.
• Establish and uphold standards of care for resident safety.
• Review resident records and monitor treatment plans.
• Conduct case reviews and ensure care plans are followed.
• Address inquiries from residents and families promptly.
• Ensure adequate stocking of medical supplies for smooth operations.
• Advocate for the unit’s interests to upper management.
