The ideal candidate offers RN licensure in good standing, 3+ years of nursing experience including administration, and a dedication to mentorship and process improvements within a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience; minimum 1 year in nursing administration.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs and supervise nursing staff providing direct resident care on the unit.
• Assist in staff development.
• Provide direct resident care in accordance with established plans.
• Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Conduct and document complete data collection of each resident’s medical status.
• Assist in development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring nursing staff.
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and staff to resolve grievances.
• Must complete Preceptor Training.
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with new ideas and improved systems.
