Job summary

Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead an assigned nursing unit and directly impact resident care. This hands‑on nursing leadership position involves supporting a team, making clinical decisions, and staying involved in resident care with close collaboration among nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team.

You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, conduct assessments, and ensure care plans are up to date while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts.
• Long‑term care experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, team‑oriented, and committed to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Complete resident assessments and clinical documentation.
• Investigate resident accidents and incidents and follow through on resolutions.
• Update and maintain resident care plans.
• Conduct wound rounds and provide wound care treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments.
