Job summary

Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead an assigned nursing unit and directly impact resident care. This hands-on leadership role involves supporting a team, making clinical decisions, and staying involved in resident care with the interdisciplinary team.

You will supervise RNs/LPNs/CNAs, manage assessments, care plans, and medications, and collaborate to maintain high standards of care in a dynamic post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Complete resident assessments and clinical documentation.
• Investigate resident accidents and incidents and follow through on resolutions.
• Update and maintain resident care plans.
• Conduct wound rounds and provide wound care treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support quality resident care.
