Job summary

Buckeyeforestmadeira is seeking a Unit Manager - RN at Madeira Care Center in Madeira, OH to lead a nursing unit within a long‑term care facility. You will supervise RNs, LPNs and CNAs, develop individualized care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure regulatory compliance and high‑quality resident care on a first shift.

Required are an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing, active RN license, 2–3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in leadership, plus strong

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted RN license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) to ensure high‑quality care.
• Develop and update care plans based on resident assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and social workers for coordinated care.
• Provide direct nursing care when necessary, including medications and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
