Job summary

Cascade Senior Care Center is seeking an experienced Unit Manager RN to coordinate clinical care on an assigned unit within a 24-hour operation. You will oversee nursing staff, implement care plans, and work with an interdisciplinary team using the latest technology to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will supervise rounds, train staff, and ensure reports are completed while promoting hospitality and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan; CPR-BLS certification.
• Analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and address problems.
• Excellent customer service and commitment to high-quality care.
• Team player with ability to support the nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, provide direction and assignments, and contribute to training and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on skilled care processes and serve as a clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of required reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
