National Health Care Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager at The Pines at Poughkeepsie to oversee nursing staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure high-quality resident care in a cushioned, supportive environment.

The role requires an active RN license, prior supervisory experience in long-term care, and a patient-centered approach. The position is full-time, typically Monday–Friday with on-call rotation and some weekend duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN nursing license.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in supervisory or leadership role in Long-Term Care setting preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit.
• Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care.
• Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
