Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation Warwick Forest is hiring a Nurse Manager in Newport News, VA. The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,800 to $117,975, with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance up to $5,000 for eligible candidates.

The Nurse Manager will lead a nursing team, drive high-quality resident care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure safety and compliance, and support staff development in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with Virginia Department of Health Professions.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years as RN or LPN required.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of nursing professionals to ensure high-quality care across the unit.
• Build a positive team culture and improve staff retention.
• Collaborate with rehab, social services, activities, dietary, pharmacy, and physicians to maintain personalized care plans.
• Promote safety, policy compliance, and a culture of accountability.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and performance to foster growth and morale.
• Monitor quality assurance initiatives and drive operational excellence.
• Provide direct nursing support including medication administration as needed.
