MediLodge of Alpena is seeking a Unit Manager/Nurse Supervisor RN to direct and oversee the nursing unit within our long-term care facility in Alpena, MI. You will supervise RNs and front-line staff, plan staffing, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes leadership, operations management, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, while fostering growth and teamwork within a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN degree preferred or graduate from accredited nursing program.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with CPR certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct the nursing unit operations and supervise RNs and staff.
• Plan and facilitate meetings to address resident care issues.
• Ensure staffing meets resident needs and budgetary controls.
• Oversee medication procurement, records, and supplies for safe care.
• Support orientation and ongoing education of nursing staff.
