Red Rocks Care Center in Gallup, NM is seeking a Unit Manager/Director - RN to support the Director of Nursing and drive high-quality patient care. A $10,000 retention bonus is offered alongside a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities include leading nursing operations on an assigned unit, ensuring compliant care delivery, collaborating with physicians and rehab teams, and managing staffing and performance. Must hold RN licensure and an accredited nursing degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
