Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations within our facility. The role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, implement clinical protocols, monitor outcomes, and maintain accurate documentation in line with ICD-10 standards.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Experience in nursing management or similar role.
• Knowledge of anatomy, infection control, and sterile processing.
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV infusion.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for documentation.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Background in emergency medicine and behavioral health preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines to promote a positive culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in patient care, including infection control and medication administration.
• Oversee implementation of clinical protocols related to anatomy knowledge, sterile processing, catheterization, IV infusion, and emergency medicine.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and enhance patient care plans.
• Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ICD-10 standards.
• Provide training and education to nursing staff on behavioral health and emergency procedures.
• Address staffing issues or conflicts to maintain a cohesive work environment.
