Job summary

Millington Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill a management/leadership role as RN Unit Manager in a skilled nursing facility.

You will serve as a clinical and operational liaison, ensuring compliance with standards, supervising GNAs and LPNs, and coordinating with the DON, ADON, and medical director. This is primarily Monday–Friday with on-call rotations; competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• In-depth knowledge of nursing care methods and health and safety guidelines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience supervising GNAs and LPNs in a nursing home setting.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor residents’ health and assess needs to provide quality care.
• Collaborate with physicians to create care plans and assist during procedures.
• Maintain healthcare records and reports according to best practices.
• Supervise and train GNAs and LPNs on staff.
• Administer medications and provide emergency care when necessary.
• Ensure adequate staffing coverage with the DON and management team.
• Monitor care quality to reduce hospitalizations and improve outcomes.
• Communicate patient changes to attending physicians and families promptly.
