Job summary

Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, CT is hiring an RN Unit Manager for the day shift. This exempt, 40-hour-per-week position requires licensure in good standing and prior LTC experience, with BSN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, development and implementation of a comprehensive care plan.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving to plan and supervise care on the unit.
• Maintain schedule flexibility to connect with off-shift staff in person.
• Collaborate with ADON to monitor flow and delegate assignments across shifts.
• Use Evidence-Based Practice to improve care delivery and processes.
• Supervise and investigate events to ensure proper follow-up and records.
• Ensure accountability of the interdisciplinary team for value-based care delivery.
