Job summary

National Health Care Associates' Riverside facility in East Hartford is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a dedicated nursing unit, oversee staff, and ensure high‑quality resident care in a supportive, compassionate environment.

You will develop care plans, supervise scheduling, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, mentor nurses, and uphold safety and compliance standards for our aging residents. A valid state RN license and leadership in long‑term care are required.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN nursing license.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care; interest in the nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
