Job summary

Westerville Post Acute is seeking a full-time Unit Manager RN to oversee resident care and coordinate treatment plans. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and requires adherence to federal, state, and facility guidelines while ensuring high-quality care.

You will supervise nursing staff, communicate with families, and ensure accurate documentation, wound care, and timely physician communication. On-site work with competitive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college and an active license.
• Two years or more experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Current CPR certification and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to read procedures, policies, and medical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with residents and families about plans of care and treatment.
• Carry out physician orders, including medication administration.
• Provide wound care and monitor healing progress.
• Assist in updating care plans and participating in patient rounds.
• Supervise nursing staff and support orientation and training.
• Notify physicians of significant changes and document findings.
