Ely Manor in Michigan is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead daily operations of a nursing unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, resident-centered care in line with regulations and standards. The role serves as a clinical leader and mentor for nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment for residents, families and team members.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• RN license in the state of employment (current).
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in long-term care or post-acute settings.
• Minimum 1 year in supervisory/management role preferred.
• Current CPR certification or CPR within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs/STNAs.
• Performs supervisory responsibilities per policies and laws.
• Interviews, hires and trains staff; plans and directs workflow.
• Manages staff assignments and rotation within unit.
• Addresses staff performance and disciplinary actions as needed.
