Job summary

Genesis is seeking two Unit Managers - RN to join our nursing center leadership team in Rio Rancho, NM. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, cost-effective care while ensuring regulatory compliance and positive patient outcomes.

A $10k sign-on and strong growth opportunities are offered in a supportive environment. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an ADN, Diploma, or BSN and possess current state licensure along with BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• ADN with three years of nursing experience.
• Nursing Diploma with three years of nursing experience; BSN with two years.
• At least one year of nurse leadership experience is required.
• Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Join the nursing center management team as a Unit Manager - RN and ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective health care.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage for safe care.
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations.
• Mentor and educate nurses, coordinating with physicians and staff on quality of services.
• Oversee medication management to ensure supplies and policy compliance.
• Provide direct patient care along with unit nurses to maintain clinical skills.
